YES!! House Approves $1,400 Stimulus Checks! $2,000 Third Stimulus Check Update BIDENS 3RD STIMULUS
February 12th is the first day that Americans can file their 2020 tax returns.
This start date was pushed back from the traditional February 1st date and is just one of the reasons why this year’s tax season could be more lively and important than ever before.
Another reason why this year’s tax season could be trickier than usual is remote working in a different state than where you live could impact your tax return.
Typically, employees must file tax returns in their state, as well as where they work, if those states are different.
This means that you could be forced to file multiple tax returns in different states, with each state having its own set of rules and regulations regarding taxes.
Also, don’t forget to claim your stimulus funds and deductions for charitable donations on your upcoming tax return to ensure that you get your disaster relief funds.
Hopefully, this information is helpful, but as always, speak with a finance professional before filing your 2020 taxes.
