A glitch in the IRS system could be sending couples that file taxes jointly with 2 stimulus checks for $1,400 each, instead of a joint check of $2,800.

According to the IRS: “there is a glitch in the system that divides the payments for married couples where one person has filed an injured spousal claim.”

Many couples initially believed that they were only receiving half of their stimulus funds, which is why the IRS had to clear up the confusion to ensure all eligible Americans that direct payments are on the way.

They explained in a statement: “Couples in this situation are eligible for the full stimulus payment, which is worth up to $1,400 per person — but they may get the money in two separate payments.”

So don’t be worried if you only received $1,400 after jointly filing taxes, you will likely see another stimulus check for $1,400 coming your way shortly.

Meanwhile, we’ve talked about this issue many times on the channel, and it looks like some leading politicians are subscribers, as they have finally heard our cries for disbursing vital stimulus checks to Social Security…
