We work really hard for our money, but most turn a blind eye to the kind of harmful choices that are costing valuable dollars each month.

Nobody wants to lose money especially when we aren’t aware we’re spending it.

There are some common ways that you could be missing out on money by either running up unnecessary expenses or by missing out on money that you should be earning.

1. Not Choosing the Right Credit Card

Credit card companies are already collecting your money with interest fees or late fees, so there is no reason that you should be paying for such large annual fees.

Credit card companies are always trying to compete with one another and this can be an advantage to you to determine which best fits your budget.

“Do keep in mind though, canceling a credit card you’ve had open for a long time can cause a temporary hit to your credit score.”

If your not interest in taking out a loan anytime soon and your paying harsh fees every year, it might be time to consider your options and make the switch.

2. Using Special Deals

When we take notice of special deals, it makes us feel special that we took advantage of a sale that saved us more money.
