Foot traffic is an essential aspect for some businesses and it can lead to a number of different opportunities.

With the amount of competition, trying out different ways to get people walking into your store can be important for the future success of your business.

Fortunately, there are a number of ways to attract customers to your store.

1. Maintain your Storefront

Your storefront should be well maintained as it can be a reflection of what’s inside.

Pick up trash, sweep the sidewalk, and clean glass daily.

Assess your storefront and determine if there are any aspects that need to be spruced up.

Adding potted plants and a nice paint job can go a long way to attracting customers inside.

2. Set up Curbside Extras

Another popular tactic among retailers is adding a sandwich board to notify customers of a recent sale occurring or a popular item of the day.

Some even go beyond with witty comments or social media content that is relevant to the store.

This is an inexpensive way to attract eyeballs to notice your store.

3. Increase your Google My Business listing
