We got an interesting one for you today, folks. Have you heard of Donald Trump’s new social media app? After being banned from Twitter and Facebook, the former president has decided to start his own social media app.

I don’t know if you remember Parler. It was another conservative social media app that didn’t exactly work out. Well, now it’s Trump’s turn… and so far, it’s a complete disaster.

The consensus is that the app, known as Truth Social, which is valued at over $10 billion already, is off to a bit of a bumpy start. After officially launching two weeks ago, the app has garnered some moderate attention and even popped up as one of the top free app downloads in the app store.

Still, a lot of news coverage of the app suggests that it’s a bit of a dud. According to Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes, Truth Social wouldn’t apparently be completely developed until the end of March.

Now, according to a Politico article, MAGA fans just aren’t “flocking to the app.” Apparently there’s not much notable public excitement about the app. Those who work directly with Trump or are huge Trump supporters are not that enthused. Even Trump himself only posted one “Truth,” the Truth Social equivalent of a Tweet.
