Huge news from the SBA! Small businesses will be able to enroll in a $3 million pilot program. Not to be confused with UBI pilot programs — this money, again, is going to small businesses. I’m gonna tell you exactly how and why to get your hands on this money.

The SBA has unveiled a $3 million Cybersecurity Pilot Program. This comes as professional fraudsters have been targeting smaller shops at an increasing rate.

The program will go to just three lucky states in the beginning, but there will be more in the future.

This announcement came on January 21st, when the SBA confirmed that $3 million in grants for state governments is on its way to assist small businesses with their cybersecurity.

Any given small business can get anywhere between $800,000 and $1 million each. We don’t know how or when these funds will go out.

This is very important, since outdated systems and technology that are supposed to operate very important jobs are at greater risk for hacking. Remember what happened with the Colonial Pipeline ransomware…
