Here’s your daily stimulus check, your second stimulus check, your third stimulus check, your fourth stimulus check, executive actions, executive orders, and stimulus package update for Saturday, May 1st, 2021.

A major component of Biden’s $1.8 trillion stimulus package would include support for students.

The plan would be creating universal free preschool for three and four-year-olds and the White House estimates it would benefit 5 million low-income children and save the average family $13,000.

It also includes two years of free community college for all Americans as well as increasing the pell grant for low-income students by $1,400.

This plan would require a national partnership with states as a way to ensure that education is high quality, inclusive, and has low student-to-teacher ratios.

While Biden has previously supported his stance on student loan cancellation during his campaign, so far it seems he has excluded this proposition in this new stimulus package.
