Michigan will once again open its offices to provide in-person unemployment support for claimants across the Great Lakes State.
After being closed for more than 15 months, Michigan aims to finally provide necessary unemployment support in just over a month.
Liza Estlund Olson, from the Unemployment Insurance Agency, explained: “Unemployment numbers are going down. The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency plans to reopen its 12 offices by mid-July after a more than 15-month closure and a record number of claimants.”
This is great news for all of my viewers in Michigan, and hope that these vital unemployment offices keep reopening across America to ensure you get the unemployment support and benefits you deserve.
Meanwhile, a recent study from Market Watch found that taking away extended enhanced unemployment benefits will disproportionately hurt working-class moms across America.
