The housing market in this country is a bit crazy right now… I’m sure you already knew that. My own town of Las Vegas, for example: housing prices just surpassed $400,000 for the first time… ever. That’s why news of these affordable housing projects are actually really great to see.

Like this whopping $1.1 million is being allocated for affordable housing in one city. This is happening all over the country, but we’re gonna talk about this brand new one today.

Find out who is getting that $1.1 million, how a 106-year-old house is being turned into affordable housing, and how another town is addressing their citizens to talk about new affordable housing measures.

Let’s talk about that $1.1 million going to one city…

HUGE changes could be coming to a prominent location in the Byram neighborhood in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Plans have been submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission to build 27 residential units at 111 Mill St., where the Byram Smoke Shop is currently located. The proposed new construction would also encompass 9 South Water St., which is vacant.
