Being overworked can affect all aspects of your life and it can be really harmful to your health.

It occurs in every industry and almost everyone has felt burnout, overworked, and stressed. However, we have heard stories of entrepreneurs make it big by working 24/7.

While we may be busy people who strive to be as successful as those stories suggest, it has become apparent that stress is a real problem for workers.

“A recent Gallup study of nearly 7,500 full-time employees found that 23 percent reported feeling burned out at work very often or always, while an additional 44 percent reported feeling burned out sometimes.”

That represents almost two-thirds of full-time employees.

According to CNBC, “Job burnout accounts for an estimated $125 billion to $190 billion in health-care spending each year and has been attributed to type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, gastrointestinal issues, high cholesterol.”

These statistics show the importance of taking the necessary steps to minimize these effects.

  1. Look for support

While your team at work should help fuel your motivation, you should also strive to find a supportive atmosphere elsewhere.
