Governor Tony Evers, from the great state of Wisconsin, recently defended the weekly $300 FPUC extended enhanced unemployment benefits, going against the now 25 states pledging to end these funds early.

He explained: “First of all, I’d like to see proof that the people struggling on unemployment, that if they all came back to work suddenly this problem is solved. It’s an issue I’ve seen no data on, none whatsoever.”

I’m hearing reports that Evers appears likely to veto the unemployment program giving money back to the Feds, keeping these funds distributed through the current September deadline.

This is amazing news for all of my viewers in the Badger State, and hopefully, other areas can do the same and defend the vital unemployment benefits that have been keeping millions of Americans financially afloat.

Meanwhile, the great state of North Carolina has finally approved a stimulus unemployment program that we’ve discussed on the channel, which will now provide eligible unemployed citizens across the Tar Heel State with $1,500 back-to-work bonuses.
