One of the industries hit hardest over the past year has been restaurants, and it seems like these dining establishments could finally get some much-needed financial support thanks to the most recent round of $1,400 stimulus checks in the American Rescue Plan.

According to a report from Rabobank using Earnest Research, it looks like restaurants are on the comeback trail, with an estimated 20% to 30% boost in sales thanks to the direct payment stimulus checks.

The report also states: “Recipients spent 10% to 15% more in restaurants following the last two rounds of stimulus, and we expect an even bigger and more uniform impact from the third round of stimulus.”

This is great news for restaurants and dining establishments across America, and I hope that all of our favorite local eateries bounce back stronger than before.
