FINALLY! HOUSE PASSES $300 Unemployment Benefits Unemployment Extension SSI Stimulus Update PUA FPUC
With the approval of President Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus package comes 6 additional months of weekly $300 FPUC extended enhanced unemployment benefits.
But just when can we expect to see these vital unemployment funds hitting bank accounts across America?
According to Kersha Cartwright, a spokeswoman for Georgia’s Department of Labor: “If President Biden signs the bill soon and there are no additional program requirements in the bill, we should be able to implement the extensions without any interruption in payments. That is a lot of assumptions, though.”
Melanni Rosales, from the Oregon Employment Department, said: “Our goal is to minimize any delays or disruptions for Oregonians who are relying on these critical benefits.”
While I’d love to see a smooth transition into the new 6 months of weekly $300 FPUC extended enhanced unemployment benefits, you might have to file for a couple of weeks and wait for the funds to catch up once the new stimulus package is enacted in your state.
