According to the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Veterans will see significant help thanks to the American Rescue Plan.

Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough said the American Rescue plan will provide “significant resources that will help us continue to provide Veterans the best care and services.”

Based on previous economic downturns, he noted that Veterans who lose their jobs and health care benefits often turn to VA for assistance.

He said, “In short, the vital support the American Rescue Plan provides will help alleviate some of the most devastating effects (from that thing out there)”

The plan will help the committee reimburse Veterans have made since April 2020 and provide new resources that will help VA build new facilities and improve operations.

This is fantastic news that our Veterans can continue to receive help after everything they have done for us in return.
