CRAZY TIMES $2,000 CHECKS Second Stimulus Check Update

An error message reading “Payment Status #2 — Not Available” on the IRS.gov Get My Payment Portal is forcing Americans to take action, as their $600 stimulus checks might not be sent automatically.

The IRS explained: “people receiving the Payment Status #2 message on the Get My Payment tool will have to wait until they file their 2020 taxes to get the payment, even if they received the first stimulus check with no issues.”

A statement from the agency states: “The IRS advises people that if they don’t receive their Economic Impact Payment, they should file their 2020 tax return electronically and claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on their tax return to get their payment and any refund as quickly as possible.”

In addition to the bank account problems from TurboTax and H&R Block like I talked about yesterday, I just hope that every one that is still waiting on their $600 stimulus checks can get these vital disaster relief funds soon.
