BREAKING NEWS Unemployment Update $300 Stimulus Extended Unemployment Benefits

Happy Thursday, which means that we have to talk about the weekly status of the US economy and jobs market in this week’s jobs report from our friends at the Department of Labor.
For the third week in a row, this week’s jobs report displayed good news for the economy, as the actual unemployment figures were lower than last week, and exceeded the estimates of the economists from the DOW Jones.
The weekly report showed that 779,000 Americans filed their first time unemployment claims, which is lower than the previous week’s 812,000 initial claims.
These numbers are also below the 830,000 first time claims predicted by economists, and is the lowest weekly claims reported since the end of November 2020.
