Here’s your unemployment update for Wednesday, February 17th, 2021

A recent study shows some encouraging numbers relating to extended enhanced unemployment benefits and the rise once again of the US economy.

According to Business Insider: “the study estimates that the $600 supplement to UI increased total spending from April to July by 2% to 2.6%.”

They also stated: “Additionally, the drop in job search from the supplement only decreased employment by 0.2% to 0.4%.”

These figures are certainly encouraging for both employment figures and the US economy, and I hope that with further unemployment stimulus measures, we’ll continue to see America fully rebound from that thing out there.
