There are a number of impulse purchases that we are all guilty of buying things that will be stored away to never use again or just stuff we don’t need.

These small costs can add up over time and they keep us from making unhealthy financial decisions.

Most of the time we spend money on things we really don’t need and knowing what to look out for can help.

1. Single-Use Kitchen Gadgets

There is a kitchen gadget for just about everything that at the moment we think we might need but chances are we’ll forget that after just one use.

Unless you think it’s a total necessity and you find yourself needing it daily, there is probably no need to buy things that are meant for one-time use.

Not only do they take a large amount of space in your kitchen, normal kitchen appliances probably accomplish the same results.

2. Exercise Equipment

While we try to save on a gym membership we will never use, chances are we turn to expensive gym equipment that we probably will not use.

While buying exercise clothing or small items such as a pair of weights are okay, buying heavy machinery is probably not necessary to get a good work out in.
