The Census Bureau recently released their most recent Household Pulse Survey, which offered stats on employees across America, and just how many people per state are working from home.

The survey asked the following: “Percentage of adults living in households where at least one adult has substituted some or all of their typical in-person work for telework because of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Here are the top 5 states that have the highest percentage of Americans working from home: 1st is Utah with 51.9% adults in households with workers telecommuting due to the pandemic, 2nd is New Jersey with 51.1%, 3rd is Massachusetts with 50%, and tied for 4th are Maryland and Connecticut, each with 46.5%.

The states with the lowest work from home rate? Last is Mississippi with 19.6%, next is Arkansas with 25.2%, then comes Wyoming with 26.3%, then West Virginia with 27.1%, and South Carolina with 27.6%.

These work-from-home numbers are fascinating to me, and please let me know in the comments: have you worked from home at any point over the past 13 months, or are you still commuting to the kitchen each day?
