While we should give ourselves a pat on the back for just surviving 2020, the start of 2021 is a good time to self-reflect and go easy on ourselves.

Many people are ditching New Year’s resolutions altogether but instead of setting specific goals, we should strive for a change in mindset ahead.

We usually set resolutions that require us to make big changes within our lives but it can be hard to achieve those.

As we reflect back on 2020, we can focus on setting achievable goals that improve our wellbeing and mental health.

Set Limits for Work

Many people began to work from home making it harder to set boundaries between your home life and your work life. One goal to consider is setting limits to your work so that you can slowly find that balance again.

It can be setting a time for yourself where you work between your set time or finding a hobby that you enjoy that can occupy your mind to take you away from work. You can also hide your devices or turn them off once in a while. Whatever you decide, don’t let work consume you.
