Michigan is facing some significant unemployment issues, as they have recently changed their unemployment rules, forcing some citizens to have to repay these important government unemployment benefits

Michigan will reevaluate unemployment claims for over 690,000 people, with a vast majority — 648,000 — having to confirm their jobless status and may learn they weren’t eligible for funds they already received

Representative Steve Johnson explained: “There’s just a number of issues that we’ve seen at the agency that need to be resolved. There’s clear mismanagement at the UIA.”

He also offered tips for making the system easier, stating: “People can really get tripped up over it. They really need to use language that people can understand.”

Hopefully the Great Lakes State can get their act together, as causing unemployment mayhem for upwards of 650,000 citizens is the last thing these deserving Americans need on their plates right now

Meanwhile, we have a new state that is sticking up for unemployment claimants, with lawsuits coming to allow citizens to continue receiving federal…
