Here’s your unemployment update for Wednesday, January 13th, 2021

According to a new study from Yale University, Americans still sought out employment, even with the incentive of weekly $600 FPUC extended enhanced unemployment benefits.

While some politicians believed that these extra unemployment funds would cause Americans to stay home and not work, this new research suggests the opposite and caused people to go back to work or seek new employment.

Citing the loss of health benefits and gaps in employment, a majority of Americans used these vital unemployment funds to give them time to find the right job during these crazy times.

With talks of the weekly $600 FPUC extended enhanced unemployment benefits heating up, I sure hope that the stigma of lazy unemployment claimants can die along with that thing out there, as these necessary disaster relief funds would do so much good for so many of y’all out there.

Meanwhile, the great state of Kentucky is making good on their word of helping unemployment claimants that were not eligible for President Trump’s weekly $300 FEMA unemployment benefits.
