Amazon recently announced that they will be allowing employees to spend two days out of the workweek at home in their mobile offices.

The major company appears to be walking back their claims from March, where they claimed that all employees must work full time back in offices or warehouses.

They explained in a memo: “We’ve been thinking about how to balance our desire to provide flexibility to work from home with our belief that we invent best for customers when we are together in the office.”

They continued: “Like all companies and organizations around the world, we’re managing every stage of this pandemic for the first time, learning and evolving as we go.”

This is great news for all of the people that have gotten used to working from home, and good on Amazon for listening to their employees and allowing them to work from both the home and the office.

Meanwhile, one group of Americans currently has the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 70 years.

According to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the jobless rate for teens dropped to 9.6% in May, providing…
